It's incredibly disappointing to me that I live in a state where a majority the legislative body doesn't believe in equal rights for all residents. Four local state senators cowardly and silently, voted against marriage equality today.


Like we chanted in the freezing rain tonight: gay, straight, black, white —marriage is a civil right.


For those interested in "protecting traditional marriage"... what about outlawing divorce?
